Welcome to the New York Christian Bible College (NYCBC), we are excited that you have decided to further your Christian education with us. Due to Covid-19, the NYCBC will conduct 2020–2021 classes, (including Chapel assignments), online. Here are a few things that you should know before classes begin.
TARDINESS & ABSENCES:
ETHICS:
ONLINE DRESS CODE & CONDUCT:
1. Please, no lying in bed or wearing pajamas during class.
2. No smoking or alcoholic beverages during class.
3. Please, no hoodies or sleeping during class.
4. Please be neat, clean, and presentable.
5. ALL STUDENTS MUST APPEAR LIVE during a class and limit the use of the off camera option. If you do not appear LIVE during class, you will be counted absent.
CONFLECT OF INTEREST / NO COMPETE CLAUSE:
NYCBC prohibits students (or anyone affiliated with our student body, such as a friend, family member, pastors, clergy, etc.), from hiring or otherwise engaging any NYCBC staff member or contracted staff member, to teach at their church or any other forum (including but not limited to, Zoom or Conference calls), without the written consent of NYCBC. Speaking engagements are acceptable but must be reported to the office of NYCBC before the engagement is scheduled. Any speaking engagement that occurs more than three times in a school calendar year will be considered a teaching assignment. Absolutely no violation of our no compete clause will be tolerated. After a thorough investigation, if anyone is found in violations of this clause, the individual will be expelled immediately.
For more information concerning our no compete clause, you may contact our office during normal business hours.
Registration & Tuition:
All students must register here online, a copy or your state or government ID should be emailed to the office no later than September 12th.
A valid credit or debit card must always be on file, along with the amount and the date that you have chosen to pay towards your tuition balance.
Once you have registered, you are responsible for your entire tuition payment, whether you attend classes or not.
Chapel & Graduation:
Chapel assignments must be completed to graduate. All students are required to attend and participate in Chapel classes, as it is nearly 25% of your grade.
All assignments and attendance must be satisfied to graduate.
Each student is responsible for purchasing their cap and gown, along with hoods when required. Additionally, class rings and NYCBC attire is available for purchase.

- All students are expected to be on time for classes, three late arrivals will count as one absence.
- No more than three (2) unexcused absences per semester will be accepted. Any student with more than two unexcused absences will be in jeopardy of not graduating with their degree or certification.

- The New York Christian Bible College is a drug, alcohol, and tobacco free facility.
- Sexual harassment and insubordination towards our staff or students will not be tolerated.
- No Children under the age of 18 can attend classes.
- The sharing of our Zoom Meetings / codes / or recording of our classes are prohibited.
